ABOUT ME

Earlier days of my career, I spent dabbling in fashion - learning how to pattern cut, furniture restoration and then, more seriously, running a small curtain and soft furnishings business. These all inspired me to become an interior designer. So, with a yearning to be more creative and provide an all-encompassing service for my clients, I gained BA in Interior Design and began my practice in 2004. It’s been an incredible journey.

The spaces I create are eclectic and create focus and interest. I love to mix the old with the new, curves with lines, bold with neutrals - teasing the boundaries of the expected and creating the unexpected. I love pattern and textiles. I’m not tied to trends or fashions, modern or classic. I believe you should own your own style and dreams. More importantly, I produce designs that are for you, not me.

My promise is to deliver the interior design you will love. Designs that are personal and individual to you. The success of good interior design relies very much on a complete rapport with my clients, tuning in to their personality and lifestyle, which I begin to learn from the moment I meet them.

I am efficient and hands-on with bringing a project together. From design to implementation and project management, you often find me part of my team, whether painting, constructing or hanging curtains. In addition, I love furniture renovation and revamp - I still provide these services for clients today.

On a note on where to take your interior design, you may like to keep your family treasures, maybe even past down from generations before, and work with those, or you may be stepping out bold and creating a new start and a new design - a new life even. Whether it’s one room, three rooms or a complete new build, I am here to assist and ready to delight you with my many services.
